I admire Henri Matisse fauvism paintings. By visiting his collection at Museum Hermitage I set on the bench and fall in meditation in front of his art pieces. Henri Matisse said himself: “What I dream of is an art of balance, of purity and serenity devoid of troubling or depressing subject matter - a soothing, calming influence on the mind, rather like a good armchair which provides relaxation from physical fatigue.” 
Still Life with Oranges was created with quickly visible brushstrokes and a relatively simple color scheme. The bright colors capture our attention.
